What haven't I done in the last month...

Stressed. This pretty much sums up the last few weeks of my life. Matt and I have had a lot on our plates, and we are finally starting to get back into the routine of things. This past month has been filled with fun and excitement, as well as stress and chaos. To help you catch up on things on Tuesday Matt and I started on our 2,000+ mile journey to the east coast where we will be living for the summer. Before our journey began though we had to rent out and fix up a home that we own up in Logan...not to mention rent out the home in which we actually live in, plus some how fit in time to study and take our finals and volunteer for a program on campus. Thank goodness for family who saved our behinds and helped us to accomplish much of our tasks.

Matt and I decided to hold off our journey until Tuesday which allowed us to enjoy a day at the "Farm" with my family to thank them for all of their help. We had a good time riding motorcycles and enjoyed a good old cookout.

Matt proudly showing off his heart that he dissected. I volunteered to help out with a program on campus that allowed the community to learn about the heart...in which they got to dissect a pigs heart afterward. Don't worry I supervised him.

Me, my mom, and Caitlin just pigg'n out

Quinn and Uncle Charlie...they're inseparable.

Now that Matt and I are settled in our new apartment, we are adjusting to our new life on the east coast. One thing you must know is that Toll Roads are common. It took us over $30.00 to get from Ohio to Maryland....I know its not "that" much, but its still a pain in the butt to always have cash on hand. Another thing I've quickly learned is that driving is a little different out here, and you getter catch on quick or else people get annoyed. For example medians don't exist and sometimes left turn lanes don't either...so you basically hold up traffic while you are waiting to turn. And last but not least, you will more than likely have smelly neighbors in your apartment building. Ours regularly make some form of Asian Cuisine (either Curry or Kim Chi...) that mixes with their lovely cigarette smoke.

Overall life is now good and my days are spent working as an office manager while Matt is out selling. We are able to spend our mornings with one another till work begins around 11am, but then its work, work, work till about 9pm every night for Matt. I am excited to see the amazing sights out here and cant wait till people visit us!

Dang Toll Road!

Oh how I despise Indiana and all of their Toll Road...$14.25 is what they took from me on one blasted road.

My sweet husband who drove 25 out of the 29 hours it took us to arrive in Baltimore. It took a lot out of him.... :) Thanks Hon!

That last pic of Matt is pretty funny- If I didn't know him I'd think he was stoned. Whats up with toll roads? what a rip off! Too bad you won't be here this summer, it would've been fun to go camping, or boating. Are you back in Logan this fall?
