Inner Harbor/Baseball game

Last weekend Matt, myself and Mitch (Matt's big brother) took a little stroll down by the Inner Harbor after church. We first started our journey at the home of Babe Ruth, but were too cheap to pay $6 to take a tour of it...plus it was Sunday. So we headed straight for the Harbor and had a good time walking around and seeing the fun things it has to offer.

In front of Babe's home

The Harbor had a ship from Chile (where Matt served his mission) and they were giving free tours of it. Unfortunately our parking meter was running out of time so we had to pass.

On Saturday Matt surprised me with a little break from work to go see another Orioles game. We had a good time with Mitch, Casey and his wife Chanthoeun. I am pleased to announce that this time the Orioles won there game against the Braves!

So Matt and I both got hair cuts this past week and I had to show his off because he did it all by himself! Please excuse the picture of him, he was trying to act sly.

Man's Best Friend

Meet Bronx, my "therapy dog." A sales rep in our office just purchased this adorably puppy last week and I had the privilege of babysitting her for the day. This cute face is what kept me sane last week during work. It is so true that dogs can relieve stress! And whoever thought of "therapy dogs" in hospitals is a genius! Please excuse the crotch shot...she hasn't quite learn manners yet

This is what she would do to get my attention....steal from the pile of flip flops and pretend to chew them.

This was the best part of my day. I was busy working on my laptop and Bronx would fall asleep on my feet, under the table. And when she was out, she was out! She did not move an inch while I made brownies, took pictures of her (with the bright flash!), and listened to music because she was out cold!

So here is to some day in the distant future when I can have a therapy dog of my own! Meanwhile I'll gladly take advantage of my puppy-sitting resources.

Take me out to the Ball Game...

Matt and I finally got to have a night out...kinda of, after 8 hours of work! We had the privilege of going to a Baltimore Oriole's game last week with work. Nothing like a stadium full of drunk people with the smell of alcohol reeking from every direction. The game was fun, even though the Oriole's lost to Detroit.

The famous "Camden Yards." This stadium is actually pretty sweet!

Yes we were extremely tired at the game after a long day at work...and it sadly shows!

This was personally my favorite part of the game. Watching "Mullet Boy" and his mom. You gotta love those natural curls....

One cool thing to see at a baseball game is a home run. Its amazing how far they really do hit the ball when you see it in real life.
